Weather - F2-4

160 Meters - Length of the anchor chain made up at 2am on Saturday
morning. An amazing "Heath Robinson work of art by the crew. If we'd have
lost or or not tied it on properly we would have needed to fly the spinnaker
with shoelaces and around loss of £2k worth of ropes would have needed to be
explained to Allie.

Red Bull consumed = 0 (We stayed off the habit!)

Major events along the way of significance!

Bongani Pigeon - flew around the boat twice about 10 miles off of
Portland Bill. Landed to have a chat with Skipper Andy. Rumours arife of a
chance meeting last week in Jesters Portsmouth? . Stayed with us all night.
When change of crew happened pigeon mysteriously disappeared. Mark Edmed
believed to be involved. Big Question Did it trip or was it pushed?.

Rounded the Eddystone first in the Sailing logic fleet. (Very
impressive and in luxury!) Where were the rest of you?

Nice "Groundy Graham" incident off of Cowes Beach. Say no more but
"it was the other boat's fault for not giving us water!" Kids with buckets
and spades on beach 20 feet away looked horrified!

School of Porpoises sighted off of Eddystone and kept the crew on
their toes Saturday night.

Peter's rig climbing on way back into Hamble caused rumours of
Spiderman 4 being filmed somewhere in Solent.

Bravery award must go to Chris for her seasickness. Bummer!. Our
fully qualified nurse and master chef goes down in the action! Luckily
(Nell's Caf' (NIGEL) was open for business soon after preparing its daily
specials for the crew. I hate to ask but did anyone see the Pigeon after
Nell's caf' swung into action?

Significant Luxury events aboard Bongani included

Hot showers every day.

Butlers provided silver service.

Hot and Cold Stone massage therapy.

Flotation Tanks (Salt Water Variety!)

Jacuzzi 38 degrees around Eddystone.

To get an extra 5 knots we decided to turn off under floor heating.

Even the Bongani Pigeon was actually a white collared Dove!

4 course dinner served on Second night after brief chat with Puma
and Lion in Doldrums off of start point.
